My jewelry interests are primarily in glass – usually lampworked glass beads I make myself.  I love the color palettes, cool textures and play of light.  I usually stick to traditional bead shapes in earthy colors, but my alter ego is fascinated by sparkly things - Swarovski crystal in particular. I've collected Swarovski crystal figurines since I received an owl for a high school graduation gift. I recently discovered the brilliantly faceted lead crystal beads and pendants which come in an amazing array of shapes and colors. I have dabbled in other areas of glass art and jewelry making and don’t know exactly where my artistic future leads. For now, I’ll continue learning new techniques and look forward to mastering my favorites in the years ahead.
