Julie Levitt

Hi, my name is Julie and I like to melt stuff! In 2007 the manager of a local bead store suggested I take a bead making class with local artist, Elise Strauss. Since that first “Hot Head” experience I have used glass and metals as my artistic voice. I have been fortunate to study with several internationally know artists, such as Loren Stump, Kate Fowle Meleney, Andrea Guarino-Slemmons, Trey Cornette and Joe Silvera in both glass and metal here in Alaska. I now combine my love of precious metals with lampworking to create original bead designs, jewelry and functional art that is for sale at Sevigny Gallery, Artmosphere Studio Open Houses and several annual bazaars and markets.
